Muhammad Sadiq, after a distinguished & memorable career of 25 years with the Pakistan Army, is engaged in the social sector programs for over two decades. In the Army, he served in different command and staff appointments starting from the unit level to his services in the General Headquarters and the Ministry of Defense. He is a graduate of the Command and Staff College Quetta and also a graduate of the College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
In the social sector, Col Sadiq has worked with different National, Government and International Organizations. In the Government sector, he has worked as a Consultant in the Prime Minister Literacy Commission and the National Reconstruction Bureau, Government of Pakistan. He also has the pleasure to be associated with the UNDP, Tamere Millat Foundation, Friends of Literacy & Mass Education (FLAME), and the HASHOO Foundation.
As part of his voluntary services and the commitment to give back to the society; he established an NGO named “Society for Human Empowerment and Rural Development (SHER) in 1991 and since then continues to serve it as a “Volunteer and Founding Director”.
